Extensions are small scripts that add new features to Personal Stock Streamer or extend existing features in new directions. Extensions are designed to let you customize the software to fit your personal needs.

How to Download and Install Extensions

Personal Stock Streamer includes an Extensions manager under the Tools menu that allows you to browse for currently available extensions as well as to download and install them. The Extensions manager also allows you to install your own custom extensions as well as manage any currently installed extensions.

• To download and install any of the extensions shown on this page, select Tools->Extensions then press the Get More Extensions button.

 

Currently Available Extensions

• Price Performance Report - April 11, 2005
• The price performance extensions installs as a report under the Reports view.  It calculates the absolute and percentage gain or loss over the specified period of time.

• Price Relative Indicator - May 2, 2005
• The price relative indicator shows the performance of a stock relative to another stock or index, typically the S&P 500 index.  This is used as a good comparison of the stock's performance relative to the market and can help identify underperforming investments.

• Trailing Stop - October 11, 2005
• The trailing stop extension allows you to maximize your profits and minimize your losses.  It automatically adjusts a high water mark when your investment is going up, and alerts you if the price falls a set percentage below it.
